Procedures for Course Registration First Semester, 2010/2011 Session (A101)
Dates: 23rd March 2010 – 8th April 2010
Method of Registration: On-Line
1. Class Timetables will be available at the colleges starting on 22nd March 2010. Students can access the class timetables by visiting this website: [ندعوك للتسجيل في المنتدى أو التعريف بنفسك لمعاينة هذا الرابط] Please key-in your (User name) and (Password).
2. Course registration can be done on-line via the website: [ندعوك للتسجيل في المنتدى أو التعريف بنفسك لمعاينة هذا الرابط] beginning 23rd March 2010 until 8th April 2010. All students can access the website 3 times only to register courses.
3. Students are OBLIGED TO REGISTER THE COURSE as stated and only successful registered courses will be considered as registered course for the coming semester. The changes in the timetable will occur if the students did not fulfill the course prerequisite which was determined after the announcement of the examination result.
4. Starting on Second Semester 2009/2010 (A092), each module of Self Development Group (SDG) will be schedule on every day (Sunday-Thursday) from 5.00 am - 7.00 pm. Class timetable will be determined by the lecturer based on availability of student timetable.
5. Students who fail to register courses within the stipulated period will have these implications:-
a. A delay in obtaining PTPTN Loans
b. student only will be allowed to register course during the add/drop week.
6. Students which are inactive due to deferment of semester etc, will not be eligible for course registration during the course registration week. They can register the course only during the Add/Drop Week.
7. During the period of course registration, students can print their timetable from the portal.
8. All students are allowed to use any Internet connected computer facilities in and outside of UUM campus. The course registration schedule is as follows:-

9. For First Semester 2010/2011 Session, students are required to register for the courses using the application form available on the website.
10. The total maximum credits hours allowed per semester is 22 credit hours EXCEPT for those students who are compulsory to take English Course (SBLE1032/SBLE1042) only 20 credit hours. This total credit hour does NOT include the SDG and Practicum.
11. For those who would like to register for Foreign Language Courses (level 1), please check the registration procedures for Foreign Language Courses, at the Humanities Chairperson’s Office (Foreign Language Unit), Communication & Modern Language Building UUM-CAS for First Semester, 2010/2011 Session. Registration for level 2 and 3 must register through on-line.
12. The guidelines are as follows:
a. Students need to get advice from the Head Unit of Foreign Language, Language Centre before filling the form.
b. Students need to bring their certificate of PMR and SPM certificates (for Arabic Language only).
c. Students are advised to check the lecture’s timetable before registering to avoid clash timetable.
d. Students need to submit the form to The Head of Foreign Language Unit before the dateline.
e. Students must review the status of application through course registration portal during the first week of semester.
f. Applications are open to non-native speaker of the language.
13. The Add/Drop of courses can be done online between 1st – 15th July 2010. ONLY those students who are eligible will be considered for Add/Drop during the Add/Drop Week:
a. Students who are Under Probation/ Repeat/ Fail but they are asked to register again.
b. Students who have got FIVE (5) consecutive hours in their Class Timetable.
c. Students who are repairing Grade D+, D and F.
d. Students who were unsuccessful in registering for a course due to limited places (for those who do not fulfill pre-requisite course)
e. Slot for the courses are closed.
f. Students who are register the courses below than 18 credit hours.

16. Students could access their class timetables on the portal / website beginning on 14th June 2010 (subject to change).
Note:
1. For free elective courses, students may take the courses offered by their own faculties but the courses should be chosen from another programme.
2. All courses offered during First Semester, 2010/2011 Session which are indicated by an asterisk (*) are conducted in English.
3. Students are required to follow or observe all of the above-mentioned procedures.
4. Class timetable considered final after Add/Drop Week end.
